Ravi's debut world music album, "Ravi Chary Crossing" marks the beginning of his endeavor to unravel the various facets of his music. The album features an eclectic mix of Indian musicians - Louiz Banks, Ranjit Barot, Sivamani, Fazal Qureshi, Taufiq Qureshi, Sridhar Parthasarthy, Gino Banks, Satyajit Talwalkar, Sheldon D'Silva, Aditya Kalyanpur, Mukul Dongre, Dhruv Ghanekar, Harmit Manseta, Sangeet Haldipur, Amit Heri, Merlin D'Souza & Rhys Sebastian.

The album was launched in Mumbai by Ustad Zakir Hussain, known for his pioneering feats in the evolution of world music. The title Ravi Chary Crossing, conceived by the Tabla Maestro aptly describes Ravi's initiation in the genre of Indo Jazz Fusion, after having established himself as a sitarist of international repute.

The GIMA nominated album is an exploration of the blend of traditional Indian music with western jazz music. The result is a fusion of intense breath-taking melody. The absence of lyrics accentuates the complex yet easy-going style of music.

All the songs have been composed by Ravi Chary, with Gino Banks as the Creative Director.
